RRRS at RIT Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
RRRS has completed teaching an immigration education course at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
We were fortunate to have been invited to host an 8-week course on immigration education at RIT’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Through Berka Mou’s involvement, this course covered the basics in the field of immigration. It included information on topics such as the process of immigrating to the US for refugee/ asylum-seeking families, immigrant stories and their impacts, etc.
A warm thank you is to Berka for preparing the course material and facilitating the classes. Thank you also to fellow RRRS staff and clients who willingly participated in educating the public on our mission and story.
