Another New House!
Yet another successful move-in took place this week. Agency case manager Zia (first from the right) connected with the recently arrived Afghan family, ensuring that they are oriented, and addressing any of their concerns. This was Zia’s second home visit with the family since their arrival, and the agenda for this meeting was to walkthrough the agency Healthy Home Book, which outlines steps and guides to maintaining a healthy home in the United States.
The family was happy to speak to Zia, and was curious of common happenings during their transition like receiving mail, and getting acquainted with local resources services. Most importantly, Zia reassured them that our agency will be with them every step of the way, as they navigate their new home in Rochester.
